I recently had a mixed bag of experiences at this motel that I think might help anyone considering a stay. On the plus side, the welcome was super friendly – I felt right at home. The beds were really comfortable, which is always a win, especially after a long day of travel. I also loved how clean everything was. I'm the kind of person who appreciates thoughtful touches, and I noticed they had plenty of plates, cups, and cutlery; not to mention a microwave, which came in handy. What I didn’t love so much were some of the dining recommendations. The front desk staff pointed me toward this Chinese restaurant right next to the motel, and while it was buzzing with locals, I found that all three dishes I tried were swimming in basically the same sauce. It was disappointing. If you're in the area, I'd suggest checking out the pub on the main street or maybe the RSL instead. Now, about the room itself: it was standard motel fare—clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. But there were a few quirks. For instance, the weather couch looked a bit shabby and the bathroom. ugh, that’s where I ran into trouble. Tiny, with a sink that had no space for my things and shower tiles that looked like they could use some serious scrubbing. The mirror was also ancient—definitely time for an upgrade. I paid a bit extra for a nicer room, so I was hoping for better than what I got. The mattress situation was another little hiccup. The single bed was soft to the point of being a little too squishy for me, but the larger bed was way more comfortable. It worked fine for a night, but I wouldn’t want to be in that cramped space for too long. On the bright side, I loved being close to the main street, and the updated bathroom was certainly a plus. I didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting! Plus, they had extra blankets and pillows, which is always a nice touch when you're settling in for a night. One real downside was the noise. The walls were so thin that I could hear everything from the next room—conversations, TV blaring late into the night, and the sound of early morning travelers packing up and slamming doors. It was enough to wake me up way too early! Oh, and just a heads up about the water—it's not great for making tea. I noticed it right away; just something about the taste was off, but can't fault the motel for that, right? So, all in all, there were some really nice touches and the staff was great, but there are a few areas that desperately need a refresh to really make this place shine. It has potential, for sure, but I hope they address some of these issues soon!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in several ways. the prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the convenient location right near everything. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, with rooms that were cleaned properly and had good basic amenities. And lastly, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay.
No issues, everything was satisfactory.

I recently had a great stay at a motel halfway to my destination. The hotel had a Chinese restaurant next door, making it convenient to settle in and relax with a delicious meal after a long journey. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay. The room provided good basic amenities, including electric blankets and a very comfortable bed. The location was also ideal, just off the main road, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
Everything was just right, no complaints at all.
